Hiking boots are usually catered to faggot hipsters so they tend to be obnoxious and loud with their excessive designs and colors.
If you want to look effay while hiking, I'd recommend sticking to a simple, earth-toned outfit with minimal design faggotry.
Leather is great but I understand it's not always practical, so just go with something with a nice silhouette and a minimal design in earth tones.

op, I hear you loud and clear. you want a hiking boot that performs, but also doesnt look out of place at a restaurant or out at the bars. check out danner, they make good hybrid boots that look good for every day wear , but also can handle trails if need be. i wear mine with selvedge denim and they look awesome.

Those are serious hiking boots. They're chunky and goofy looking and each individual boot weighs like two fucking pounds so they're not really ideal for just wearing around town to look cool. I have a pair of mountain lights which are similar and I wouldn't call them very effay.

It's why I posted Lights, they're a lot more versatile than Mountain Lights, aesthetics-wise. They're about as heavy as Timbs and loads of people wear those out in the street so really weight is a non-issue.

For modern boots I've seen pic related around my area, but they're only really good for streetwear-ish outfits if you want to wear them around town.

Of course Japan has the whole 'yama girl' trend based around girls in hiking gear.

Unfortunately the male 'yama boy' equivalent makes you look like a larper.

There is however the older 'mori girl/boy' trend which is a bit more effay. The functionality is questionable though.
