the OP is obviously ironic, wearing a leather jacket is partially about avoiding to look like this guy

Unfortunately, have to exchange for another because the right sleeve had threads already pulled away from the jacket. How's it look /fa/?

Looks alright, I have a request.
Pull your pants way high(if possible) and then pull your jacket's knitting up to match the height of the waistline.

An attempt was made. It's gone back in the box to be shipped off later. For reference it was a size 38 which I was told to get after talking to the company. I'm 5 foot 9 inches 140 pounds and a 36 chest. Any smaller and it'l probably feel too tight for me.

>> No.14251890

>>14251885
Yeah, the look generally involves the pockets doubling over the waist band a fair bit.
Good enough attempt.

jackets above 500 might look good for a season

jackets that last years upon years and age like wine cost around 1000

if you want both quality and design, 2000-3000, with sky being the limit

>> No.14253001

>>14252952
Probably in the neighborhood of $500.
You can spend as much or as little as you want, but in my experience it's more about the Manufacturer than the price tag.
Also
Don't buy a designer jacket, buy something that was originally created as a pragmatic solution to a problem, those are truly timeless.

You're right, the new kids are rocking these wonderfully made(in God knows where), adorned-by-Somali, Rick Owens jackets.
As you can tell, they're very practical and will definitely retain their value.
