I thrifted an old leather jacket and it smells like some godawful musky old man cologne. How do you get rid of the odor? I kept it in a plastic bag with a ton of baking soda. No difference.

Turning inside out and hanging it outside is a surefire way to do it, but it'll take some time. I had a jacket with serious goodwill smell that I fixed that way

Wipe it down with a damp cloth. If that doesn’t help then spray vodka on it with a spray bottle, when it evaporates it should take the small with it. Wipe it down again.
