ive never really had a specific style and have always just kind of looked like a dirty druggy

I don't have much money for new clothes desu, but ive been getting in better shape and need to find something other than adidas joggers and a generic zumiez shirt from 2014.

Will I look like a jackass if I try to slightly mimic hunter s thompson's style?

talk about but not dress since I can't imagine a 18 year old insecure sheltered white kid actually dressing like a 40 year old sleazebag from a film and not getting literally laughed at outside

my piece of advice is that you first try to get the basics right first and get comfortable buying clothes and dressing, after that dress however you fucking want

Not at all, I rip him off all the time and I drown in the pusspuss. The key is being self confidant. I'd also recommend the Trainspotting look for a former junkie, particularly if you're thin, but both that Nd the Thompson look are easy to replicate while poor thanks to thrift stores.
