My knowledge of Asian history covers China from the death of Christ onwards. So like 30 AD - Present. Aside from that I have some knowledge in Buddhism and India only by associative interactions with china. I really want to specialize in Japanese history but it's not worth if there is no place in the museum devoted to it. It's also a heavily politicized industry so I couldn't even propose anything related to Taiwan. I know a bit about Vietnam and Laos but I'm more of a China major than anything else.
