i have some black sambas i got at the thrift store for 5$ in almost mint condition.
very comfy shoe, fits like a sock.
but, usually with almost all my shoes, i tie the laces a bit loose and throw the whole bow into the shoes, so that i can slip them on and dont have to deal with any laces flailing about. if you do this, theres a glaring problem wherein if you accidentally put too much pressure on the back white part, it can sink into the cloth and is really hard to get popped back out. and theres no loop to hold onto so it happens a bunch.

oh yeah white sambas are miles ahead of the black version. my friend, inspired by my catch at the thrift store, decided to purchase some and when i saw them he chose the white version. they look amazing imo.
i really only use mine for outdoor activites where i dont want to get my suedes dirty so they still work for me, but damn those white ones.

That was only the special release that came in a plastic box. There was a general release. The top 10 was always a mystery to me, I love adidas hightop retro basketball sneakers; proshells(i don't care that they're played out),decades, forums, rivalries, attitudes, conductors, but I never REALLY liked the top 10. It's got my favorite colorways, white base with color accents on stripes/etc. , my favorite cut, high, but the paneling isn't clean enough to be a simple leather shoe (proshell) due to the ankle collar, and isn't interesting enough to be like the layered shoes of the 80's like the decade, forum and so on.

Just copped these for $71. Been wanting them since they came out but I refused to spend $180 on them. Super glad I waited. I think the only other shoe I want right now is the nitejogger but I am waiting for better colorways or a decent one with black boost.
