In my case it does because I have a big forehead to begin with and my hairline starts just on top of my head which gives the illusion that my forehead is bigger than it really is. When buzzed my forehead sort of transitions into the rest of my head instead of looking like a big ass wall.
It's different for everyone though and you just have to shave it to find out.
