I have a jacket from them I’ve used traveling around the world innawoods and in cities. I love it but it’s not magic, after a few years it’s starting to wear out in the usual places, the G1000 fabric is kind of annoying to repair
Also have an actual /out/ pack from them which I love, extremely well designed 38L pack which straps down enough to fit in overhead compartments, ive lived out of it for months at a time with no complaints
I’ve heard the keb pants are what you want tho, I may get some in the future but their pricing is steep
The kanken bookbag is unironically extremely well designed and made. It’s basically everything you could want in a bookbag, keep in mind it’s built to last Swedish school children through elementary school. I gave mine away b/c too many girls I know have them

I've had the same gray Fjallraven Kanken since 2013. The patch stitching slowly fell off and I replaced it with one my friend gave me as a gift. The stitching on the side pocket fell out so I replaced it with twine. It has oil stains on it from when my car broke down on a road trip. It also has burn marks from leaving it too close to a campfire. its help together extremely well aside from the stitching of course. the actual canvas material has never failed. even then, the stitches took a couple years to come loose.

I like wearing it on campus because I get to stunt on all the chinese exchange roasties with their brand new soulless cookie cutter ones. i slam my alpha fjallraven on the desk next to their pathetic one and i send them packing back to shanghai.

Some good outdoor gear. Their trousers and shorts are great and last for ages.
A sudden rise in popularity in the last 5-8 years has caused an expansion of their range which has reduced quality and increased price.
There still are good items to be had but they're generally overpriced (even on sale).
I've had their stuff before but wouldn't buy it anymore (I use it /out/ - not for ordering a vegan latte).

Good outdoor clothing, great pocket layout but the occasional really dumb design/cost cutting measure. Have made some slimmer cuts to get the younger market in but holy shit even their women's outdoor pants are cartoonishly relaxed fit. Way too fucking pricey as is- while the quality is there, you're still talking Vietnam or other countries where even enviroconscious manufacturing isn't all that expensive. Sizing is all over the place for bottoms, literally no fucking information in terms of relaxed, straight, tapered, and when information is givin it's frequently wrong. Tops are somewhat consistent. Their main material, G1000, is a jack of many trades- it doesn't do one thing great but with the wax (and ease of removal) you can adapt it fairly well to different environments. It's an interesting idea but dedicated options work better, though the footprint of some of those is pretty gross.

Bags are fine, some interesting ideas but they're outclassed by the competition in everything but sustainability.
