Look up the Qasa Boots, they go for only like 130 on grailed and they're similar to the ones posted but 10x better

You could fabric dye the Palladium's to make them all black. That shoe is a very simple silhouette in a very simple black, even if you had the funds I wouldn't buy the Bedfords.

I don't know how people run through shoes this fast. I'd recommend having a few shoes in rotation so they see less wear, and having separate shoes for athletic activities like running or skating as those wear shoes out much faster. Otherwise, you get what you pay for - a pair of Gazelles for example is a lot more durable than whatever cheap pair of Adidas Neos you'd get at an outlet.

Knit shoes in the rain are a nightmare. Get gore-tex NMDs if you like the silhouette (black boost, as white will look trash if they're your go-to rain shoes. Otherwise, my personal recommendation is the Nike Komyuter PRM or ACG.

I'm in uni as well and still don't get much wear on my shoes but I'm sure there's other factors like gait that play a part as well. I'd definitely recommend separating running shoes from daily wear at the very least, trail running destroys even good shoes for me.

I think bike released a blazer low W pack with oversized swooshes, you could size up in those if you really like the look. I'm not strictly against DIY, but spray-paint has a high chance of looking sloppy and aging poorly. If you really want to do oversized swooshes with your colors, maybe try cutting your own swooshes from scrap fabric and sewing them on (shoe goo or another durable paste for the sole). This would give a more robust look that would be more resistant to aging, if requiring more technical skill. If you do this, I'd love it if you posted results. Always cool to see what /diy/ the /fa/m is up to. Of the two base models you posted, I prefer the white-sole/mini swoosh pair on the left. Right reminds me too much of killshots.
