You need to try them on first. No way around it. I've never seen anyone who got their perfect size on first try. They run huge and honestly most people wear them too big for their feet, which makes them look shit.

The heel is hideous. I love my Rick shoes but I'd never buy any serious athletic/sneaker type shoes from him. He's not a good sportswear maker and tends to make cheap af footbeds and outsoles.

Interesting choice for a Rick jacket, considering it's probably the most normie and safest design in the whole catalogue. Yeah, the lamb leather tends to be on the thinner side, but therefore it drapes very nicely, which gives those stacked sleaves etc. I personally have pic related which I love, because I'd never wear a smooth jacket with any kind of shine, but that's just me. Also let my tailor take out and close the arm zippers because fuck that.

Why not? If you're not 100% satisfied with a product, you shouldn't buy it. Especially when it's this expensive. Also, while I wear a lot of Rick, I think he's a gypsy motherfucker who likes to cheap out on a lot of stuff like anything where he doesn't use Raccagni zips or all of his geo/ramone soles which are essentially made of China plastic and rub off in a matter of seconds. If you read this Rick: Fuck you and your motherfucking mama!

Do leather sock ramones fit like regular laced ones? They should fit the same because the footbed is identical, right?

honestly i think i would like a bauhaus jacket, or stooges. sternberg is just what I happened to get a good price on. the lamb leather is really interesting, I didn't expect to "drape" leather (i usually prefer a heavier calf or goat or something)

Get the stooges. Bauhaus has a super high collar and is generally not a great design. You can always get stooges for a good price, even brand new + you can get your preferred leather like calf, which is a lot more substantial.

It's a mollino in blistered lamb. I mostly wear all Rick but I've combined it with plenty of other stuff. It looks kind of freaky on pics but it's not so outlandish IRL + I like the option of protecting my neck from wind if need be.

Of course I can't predict your taste, but I'd advise against them, especially if you're not a fullrickfag. They're definitely freaky looking and a zipper is always the weakest part of a boot. Better look for the regular creepers then but absolutely try waking in them first, because the creeper sole is very rigid and I personally didn't like it at all. I have Rick army boots from FW17 (pic related), before he exaggerated the tongue like a madman. They just look like regular old military beaters but I love them.

Honestly just style them like regular pods, that is to say with sock boots or leggings + chunky sneakers.

This is such an American thing. I only ever see Americans buy shoes that don't fit them in length and assume they can somehow adapt for this by putting in an insole. How does that logic even work?

FYI they aren't as comfy as real sneakers, but they're not the most uncomfortable thing in the world either. Most people size down 1. Try them on and see for yourself.
