14057492 No.14057492 [Reply] [Original]

Is their an alternative to Guidi / Ann Demeulmeester vitello / Rick Owen creepers types of boots like in pic related? I really like the bare look of the shoes and the focus on leather but the price point is really off putting for my financial situation.
Preferably just a simple sock like boot with zippers and quality leather.

Also Boot general because for some reason there's no fucking general open.

There's a reason duck boots are timeless. It's the most functional winter boot out there. If you need something to survive the elements don't pick some impractical fashion boot.

Ok, then I need more tips. All the boots I've been tipped till now look like boots that a 1800s british soldier would wear, only nicer. And also this right here: >>14068944 is too cold.

Really depends on the brand. Certain types of leather and boots are already water resistant.
What are some brands you're considering and we'll tell you

They're gay dude. They're the kind of thing you'd need to put a lot of effort into pulling off, and you probably can't if you're asking whether you should get them on /fa/

I'm asking about quality and brand reliability. I already know I can pull them off

>What the fuck. RM Williams and Guidi boots do not fulfill the same role
i meant he should just buy some universal working boots and not some expensive italian horse boots that used to be a gothninja staple in 2010

2nd day of breaking in my vintage doc martens. It's not as bad as people make it out to be, they're just a little stiff.

I think it comes down to op's wardrobe and whether or not it can support guidis. If it can, then very little compares and very few alternatives will fill that niche. If he's just buying them for the meme value then yeah, he and his wallet would be much better served with a more versatile boot.
