see subject. I'm a fan of balmoral boots, but I'm a bit suspicious of their usefulness since I don't think I've ever seen a fit where someone is wearing them, let alone a good fit. what does /fa/ think?

People used to wear these for all kinds of occasions back in the day, much like we wear normal blüchers or something now. Pretty versatile.

get brown balmorals for daily wear desu, they go surprisingly well with a wide range of clothing, I saw some listed on Ebay for decent prices after a quick search

Balmoral boots are really sharp. I've been seeing a lot more balmoral shoes in the bespoke circles lately (Yohei Fukuda in particular does a lot of them) but you can't go wrong with a good pair of boots.

If you look for balmoral boots on Ebay sometimes you can find them for under 100-150 dollars. Also look for companies that make/made them, EG AE 5th avenue, foot the coacher from grenson, etc.
