Poor man buys cheap boots every 3 months, bad soles, bad leather for 12 dollars. Rich man buys 60 dollar boots that last for five or more years. If you buy items of actual quality, and not shit tier but expensive clothes, your gear will last much longer.

Quality relates more to comfort and warranty than how long they last. That said, quality can last a year ir two of labor

I own a lot of nice things worth the money I spent on them and it is true that price does not necessarily equal quality to a point. I was in London and I went into a boutique to look around. Apparently the tasteless upper class Ching Chongs there will buy Gucci branded Wal-Mart looking huge soled tennis shoes for £750 ($1000). I mean these things look like the fucking new balances that dads wear to do yard work only less aesthetically pleasing, but in the same shop there were very nice Italian leather boots for £500. Price does not necessarily reflect quality, but I will concede that where marketing isn’t concerned, quality tends to be concentrated at higher price points.

Don't get me wrong i love Christian carol and Maurizio Amadei, im planning on getting tornados, drips and a titanium elbow jacket, but the shoes i mentioned are memes, they are the "i just got into Avant Garde" must haves, guidi was appropriated by chinks a long time ago and and i haven't had experience with M.A+ shoes before, i like the staple boots and the buckle boots, but they straight up look like clown shoes, to be fair he made a pair of clown shoes, i will never deny his creativity and genius ways to fold leather, but im not a fan of his shoes, im more into the leather and silver accessories
