just need to vent real quick so i might as well do it here.
being "skinny fat" is stupid. i love clothes but all of them look like shit on me. my thighs, ass and calves are all just... LARGE.. Even my stupid chest and man tits, and neck fat that on some days looks disgusting and okay on some days. my limbs make my body look disproportionate. i'm 190 cm and weigh 79, 78 kilos and for the life of me i can't seem to get it below that. Ideally i'd want to weigh 70,72. I used to weigh a 100 which is a big step that took some time but i CAN NOT get the rest down. I would have to eat one small meal a day for weeks to see that result. it's very hard to do this for me, there's always good food in the house, i work out 3 times a week, i use a lot of energy for work and i walk a lot. So i eat two to three meals with 1-2 cups of coffee with no sugar per day and maybe a small snack every other day.
i swear to god, when i move out and live on my own im not going to have anything in the fridge. every second that passes by and i don't look like how i want to look like i feel is wasted.
why does my body have to be like this? I really, really, really dislike the look of it. it's gotten to the point where I actually enjoy feeling the negativity about it. i look down and instantly feel dissapointed and it sort of feels good. like maybe it'll get me to stop wanting to eat . end of rant

Made a big mistake and ate 3 ribs for dinner because I was at family's and wasn't even thinking. I feel so shitty now, it's roughly 600 cal. all together. as someone who has been cooking for most of his life I'm constantly amazed at how prevalent the whole "fast food" eating thing is both here and on /fit/. it seems like there's a huge cultural divide between people who grew up and live in NYC (as I did/do) and other people in the rest of the country. Just keep in mind that alcohol is not your friend, or an answer to your problems. It’s a drug that does no good for anyone, and the more you find yourself depending on it the worse it gets. Weight gain is the least of the damage it will cause you and potentially your friendships, romantic relationships and even your career.

Don’t pick up smoking. After quitting alcohol I started drinking lots of tea, it’s still something to sip on and it’s warm and tastes good so it’s relaxing (even more so than booze imo). Eventually after cutting alcohol for nearly a year I started indulging in red wine on occasion but now whenever I start to get a buzz I feel disgusted, so I can only drink one small glass before I have to stop. For me it brings back bad memories of horrible headaches, waking up sick in the morning and generally feeling like absolute shit as opposed to what it feels like to be sober.

I came home from work early (I'm an OB nurse so my hours are pretty unpredictable) and found female sneakers in the garage that weren't mine. i'd recommend counting calories from the food you eat and always choosing a sedentary lifestyle in calculations. best case scenario, you lose weight faster than what you expected. i personally do cardio too, but i never count it in my daily calorie count or something

You could always try a mild treatment for constipation like lactulose. I had to use it because i got constipated from medication, it works really well, isn't addictive like stronger laxatives, way less "dramatic" too, which is a huge plus.
