Straight up patchouli is unisex, but it can be worked into either masculine or feminine scents. Add some more woody notes and you have a male fragrance. Add vanilla and florals and you're in lady scent territory.

Patchouli is probably my favorite note, but it's one that can quickly turn sour on you under certain circumstances. Patchouli dominant frags are a gamble in high heat and you absolutely must bathe before wearing it. Bought Tempo about 2 weeks ago and it's fucking magical. It's such a nice soil-y but pleasant patch with a nice nutty mate note. Sometimes I'll dab a drop
of patchouli oil on my neck and then spray something over it to give it that musky base.

after that, what he and most people probably take issue with are intangible and subjective factors inflating the price. one of the larger factors being market forces. instead of thinking you are paying the company for how much it cost them to make the sweater, imagine you are bidding on an auction and prices will make more sense. rich people are willing to pay a higher price than you for the same thing

design is also a commodity in and of itself. lets say you give the same $25 set of essential oils to a complete newbie and an experienced perfumer. they each make a fragrance. even though they cost exactly the same to produce, they will not sell for the same price. the experienced perfumer will make something that has greater demand

I like it, but I think it'd be redundant in my collection. It smells to me like a combination of 3:1 Layton:Herod, or Layton with the added tobacco note.

Most real nigga wood frag I've ever smelled. Tam Dao, Wonderwood, Wonderoud, cheap woody frags like Dsquared and Lalique don't even come close. Definitely going to cop, looks like it's not available through discounters.

For what it's worth, I have found the Tam Dao edp and edt to be very similar scent wise - EDP lasting longer and smelling a bit darker, EDT projecting better.
Debatable whether the EDP is worth the extra money, but I plan on replacing my dwindling EDT with the EDP, just to decide definitively.

I've seen those russian ebay accounts, I would not trust them, despite never hearing about a phony Diptyque.
