I got married recently and thus "have" to wear a wedding ring, but I always feel on men there's this nuance about them, like, the man is wearing it because he has to, not because he wants to, which is the whole point of wearing anything.

Long story short I figured I could balance it out by wearing another ring on the same hand, on the index finger, but I have no idea what kind of ring would be good.

Something interesting but not overly gaudy and suited for an index finger.

White people used to wear gold all the time though, the whole "yellow gold is for dark people" thing seems like a recent invention. I know plenty of old white guys who have gold wedding rings and gold or two-tone watches.

My good feels: accomplished my goals for last year. I made some money (still poor), moved out and got a great apartment, got a new bed and went on a soul clenching trip at the end of the year.

My bad feels: I have nothing to love, my life feels like it lacks meaning at least for now. I'm coming to terms that i can never have a free youthfull life full of adventure and lost love. I'm so hung up about that. I'm 23 somewhat consider myself anti social its hard to make friends but I'm at least not depressed when I'm alone. I feel disconnected from everything except this shit board
