Anyways: in this day and age how many and which stickers do you keep on a cap? Ive never really been one to wear them but I got one for almost nothing and this one cause baker memefield...
Do I keep the new era one? Thats the one people kept on back in highschool but I dont know about it...

Its not the best but I kinda like it with my sand colored jacket. Also got it for less than half from a guy who collects caps and had to get rid of some stuff so was more of an opportunity purchase...
Did you leave the nfl sticker on, too? Or just the new era one? Guy who I bought it from was such an autist that he even left the barcode sticker on which I did remove...
I guess in the end I can always just leave them on and take them off later if I feel like it...

The circular one is meant to be left on. All other stickers are just for merchandise display.

Most snapbacks nowadays have a circular sticker of sorts on the bill. Back in the day when "baseball caps" still had bent bills, this sticker (if there even was one) was much plainer and was meant to be ripped off probably even before it hit the shelves.

In this era (80’s onwards), however, the sticker is left on as a proof of legitimacy if you will. Stickers are much harder to copy and most fakes won’t even bother with any sticker. Leaving the sticker on became a statement of newness as well, since it originally implied that it was only recently for sale, and therefore not just some hat you found in the attic.

I've always found the one, circular sticker on the bill much more aesthetic anyway. The often metallic sheen contrasts with the matte fabric texture of the hat.
