I find it really ironic that such a low profile sneaker is being shilled so hard when dad shoes and chunky sneakers are still very much in vogue and on the rise. New balance 990 is up and coming for thotcore. Af1s are already very popular and have been.
I’ve always considered the samba to be a pretty normie default NPC shoe with almost no personality in its design. Like what does wearing the samba say about you as a person? Probably nothing because you’re probably wearing it with uncuffed slim fit Levi’s 511s from the mall with a random graphic t shirt.
GATs at least have history and a cleaner design and show you did some research and didn’t just pop into the nearest footlocker to cop your sneakers

It's not at all the same sole. BW Army has a higher offset/heel drop than the Samba's which are more flat. Also, the Samba has a built in arch support whereas the BW army does not. Very simple mechanics my friend
