How the FUCK do I get a perfectly clean shave without stubble showing through my skin?

Buy it.

Impossible without make up if you're not willing to take hormones or get laser hair removal.

Shave against the grain... Right before you leave...

Course it'll fuck you skin up for the next few weeks(ingrown hairs, razor burn) but for the 2-4 hours after if, you'll look like a prince!

A shaving brush with nice shaving cream - like close shavers squadron from Kiehl's - is gonna give you a, well, close shave.

do your shave after you get out of the shower. lather up and do a pass with the grain,
then wash with hot water, lather up again, and do it against the grain.

Past double edge against the razor shaving and makeup, there is little you can do as an adult male besides electro or laser hair removal. Androgenic hair is extremely difficult to remove

Sounds like you have the same facial hair as me. I could grow a full thick moustache in a week, but my cheeks are almost hairless.

The best I've found is shaving with a safety razor with sharp blades and good shaving cream. Do one pass with the grain and then lather up again and do a pass against the grain. If you get good at it you can get nice and smooth without irritating your skin too bad, and it'll last at least like half a day.

In the army they told us the best trick.
Instead of shaving against the grain, shave with the grain as normal, then once you're fully done, do it again a second time.

It's like magic.

The autist response is to by a straight razor or safety razor using a silvertip badger brush and slap your momma cognac scented soap and aftershave.

The real answer is to just buy a high end electric razor. Either a Braun Series 9 or a Panasonic Arc 5. These will give you a baby smooth shave and zero ingrown hairs or irritation. If you don't believe me, pop into your nearest Best Buy, buy one and try it out -- if not return it with 2 weeks.

Agreed. I avoid the rotary shavers these days because I think they're harder to clean the neck up, but they do work well and they're cheap. Decided to ditch dollar shave club two years ago because I realized that even bi-monthly I was still spending around $50 a year. Bought a $50 electric and it's still working fine as long as I use it every day.

The beard is never in, unless you are chad (who can do whatever he likes), or you're an old-school man who can actually build and destroy things with his hands.

inb4 beardlet, I wish. Then I wouldn't have to shave every day or two.

My hair is pretty thick, but doing three passes with a safety razor (the last one against the grain) does it for me.

Can't guarantee that it'll work for you, but I'd guess that it would.

you go "against the grain" with the electric but it does it with zero irritation to the skin and in less than 2minutes. Even if you grow hair quickly you can shave like 3 times a day and get a baby smooth shave all day long

My routine:
1) Take a hot shower, this will soften up the stubble
2) Lather up. In my experience, less is more, as long as you're fully covered.
3) Use single shave razors. This is crucial. They're all chemically sharpened and there's no difference between bodega-tier BIC's or Gillette Pro Fusion. Straight razor also works very well.
4) 1 stroke, 1 rinse.
5) Rinse with cold water only (this will help closing up the pores).
6) Rinse and repeat once again, but this time go against the grain.
7) Use paper towels to pat-dry your skin.
8) Apply aftershave/cologne.

Ur set.
