I like to have an ig and Snapchat to talk to people I consider acquaintances. That way I don't have to have their number on my phone. Plus it's neat to see what everyone is up to and post cool things I see in the world

This really, I deleted instagram when my ex left me so I wouldn't have to see her posts. I am definitely not missing it. Atleast I started defining myself by the amount of likes and follows, which is pretty alarming. I still got my snap but I just turned off all notifications so hopefully I'll be using it less frequently also. Snap is a nice way for communicating, but IG I really feel is just for showing off.

i occasionally feel like i want to take cool pics and start a cool instagram but at the same time it feels like work and i dont really take pics of myself often
so i lose the drive for a while and then it starts again, rinse and repeat ad infinitum and never do anything except taking a pic that i like and let it sit on my camera forever

i dont use ig but i do use tinder and other dating apps because i am a vapid man with 0 social skills but i got a pretty face so it works for me
