they breath great and they flex so you wont get hotspots, you’ll get less heel movement in a hitop chuck than in just about any low sneaker

I don’t even like chucks but they are certainly far from uncomfortable

Leder chucks age extremely well.

This is mine, bought two years ago and worn in spring / summer fall.

They were rotated with some combat boots, but they got fair wear and I even wore them to work for a month (dirty kitchen job). They've done really well by me.

desu I am a bit here and there when it comes these. you will mostly find that the canvas are made in indonesia, the quality is literal crap. they fall apart in two weeks. Idk if the quality was ever much better anyway, and since they are literally one of the cheapest shoes you can buy, you shouldn't expect much. the Leather actually appear to be decent. made in Vietnam, you can't expect much from them in the long run, but the leather to me are actually not bad for the price. the silhouette can't be beaten. But if you want an actual decent flat sole shoe, buy something else, that isn't made in a3rd world hellhole.

Actually, wearing very thin soles with no arch support causes you to have better posture, if you walk properly in them that is. You have to pretend you are walking barefoot, and pretend there is an arch there. That's the problem with Chucks, is their design "flattens" your arch out, which then causes pain. Unless you have no arch in your foot, which is rare. Chucks are extremely comfy if you just walk properly in them, or any flat sole shoe or sandals

I used to put sole-inserts in the black leather ones, and it was a pretty decent shoe

Copped a pair of burgundy hi tops recently. Personally, I really like the slim silhouette that Cons offer. Paired with a slightly large pull over and 511's, they do me justice.

That all being said though- they look extremely goofy if you've got large feet. I've seen some anons post about their arch support and yeah you may have to settle and pay for some gel inserts.
