Uh
>2020 recession-core
>20 years since 2000: Y2K hobo outfits reign supreme
>reaction against the trash decadent streetwear influence and braindead contemporary culture
>Hopefully a resurgence of 20s Art Deco aesthetics for the 1%
>austerity-core grey jumpsuits for the rest

basically 2000's fashion will come back into fruition in the 2020's. rhinestone graphic t shirts, ed hardy, affliction, von dutch, true religion jeans, or any jeans brand with heavy, thick stitching and flamboyant back pocket designs. bootcut is optional but encouraged. spiked hair, faux hawks, soul patches, wraparound sunglasses, diamond stud earrings, girbaud, sean john, high top sneakers with a lot of velcro straps. D&G will start making clothing overloaded with repeat logos like they did in the 2000s. other honorable brand mentions would be roberto cavalli, dsquared, philipp plein (which in my opinion is basically contributing to bringing back 2000's core with their rhinestone t shirts), john richmond, basically anything with glam rock overtones and lots of flamboyant designs

D&G logo-happy clothing stopped getting released around 2006-2008, so that cant be a 2010 thing, and von dutch was an early 2000s clothing brand, as was sean john and girbaud. get your facts straight retard

Didn't read your post, but I know is formulated to be literally that, what you like, but in 2020.

i honestly hate all that shit except D&G and dsquared. maybe i have a nostalgic feeling toward this look, but i would never dress like a 2000's douchebag, or any douchebag for that matter

metallic chrome armor some rapper will wear and then everyone will start wearing it, hacker core/cyberpunk fits will be a thing as well the complete opposite like 15th century armor because niggas in the mainstream will start rapping about Berserk. Basically, anime will fully be normie tier after netflix makes their live action anime crap. Toonami might have been a mistake.

we'll move further towards a mish-mash of the late eighties aesthetic and modern day minimalism, with emphasis on iconography or symbols.
You won't wear a tie, shirts will have a thin black strip down the button line to symbolize a tie, that sort of thing.

Skinny low-rise jeans for men will finally go the fuck away.

nah, the way these revivals work is very much cherry picking, you just listed every single trend from the 2000s. people aren't that dumb, only the stuff that aged at least semi-well will be revived

this will be the look of the 2020s, tucked tee shirts with edgy minimalist prints, utility belts and shoulder bags. skinny fit will die and be replaced with cargos and cropped suit trousers.
Also everyone will wear mostly black and sneakers will die except for whatever hyped model balenciaga releases and minimalist ones, instead people will wear boots or derbys.
Finally people will accept that streetwear is and has always been trash and it will be remembered like how 2007 soulja boy fits are seen today

this seems plausible
to see where fashion is headed you need to see what asians are wearing
the ones at my college who aren't hypebeasts or silicon valley internship guys seem to be moving towards a relaxed/casual version of techninja
a lot of minimalist print/embroidery t shirts, fanny packs worn across the body or in the intended place, sling packs, vaguely tactical-looking baggy cropped pants, futuristic oversized puffer jackets or windbreakers, and suicoke sandals (of course)
