Some people like the smell of cologne obviously. It's manufactured, marketed, and sold for a reason. But how often do you actually notice cologne or perfume on either someone you're passing or someone you're directly interacting with in an average day? If it's something you want to invest in then there's no point in not doing it but at the end of the day it's just an accessory that most people don't give a shit about.

protip: most fragrances are percieved by taste buds. and women will sublimate romantic feelings and carnal desires with food.

also true, look into the fougere category of fragrances. usually has lavender and powder to create that shaving cream and talc smell. Dior Sauvage is probably the most modern version of this lineage
