I want to get into minimalistic/grey man tech wear.

I really like the look of this Arcteryx hard shell, but I can't justify spending +$500 on one coat. To me that seems incredibly gay. Can anyone recommend something similar at a more reasonable price?

As an /out/ist I can say that my Arc'teryx is amazing. It is durable, weighs nothing, has plenty of pocket room, and controls temperature well.
For winter all you need is something to wick sweat under a bunny hug and you can take weather below -20.
