I've tried Saint Julep and Yesterday Haze. Saint Julep was disappointing, too linear. There was an initial blast of sweetness but after that, it was just minty for a few hours.

I bought Yesterday Haze mainly for the cream note but I didn’t get much of that. It was mostly just a sweet fig and not much change over time. It was ok, maybe better on a woman but even then it’s not great.

Just bought my first fragrance. Did I fuck up?

I wanted something inoffensive to wear in a professional setting and I think bleu noir is just the right fit. It's also nice for fall/winter and I'm starting to love the combination of cardamom and vetiver. To me, it is similar to Terre d'Hermes in the drydown, but TdH gives me a headache around hour 3-4, because the orange smell is so strong and I don't really like edible smells.

Not really such a thing as a meme scent, friend. I didn’t buy Eros/BDC because they were popular, I bought them because I tried them at the airport and liked them. Don’t give a fuck if they’re popular. Not sure which you think are overpriced, but again, if I enjoy them and am willing to pay, are they really overpriced?

Tempo’s pretty good. I wish it was a bit heavier, I find it’s a bit restrained. Still very nice, though. I do prefer Tuxedo now as a patchouli scent.

I can't stop you, but contrary to the retards in this thread people DO know Chanel No 5 more than any other perfume probably so you can expect to have the fact you are wearing women's perfume go noticed. At the very least anyone over 30 will know.

I personally don't see it as a unisex scent, its very floral despite being well blended and there is just not enough musk to balance it in a masculine way. Why not try one of the pour homme Chanel creations? I hear good things.

Good taste in fragrance, though. Buy it for your gf.

Sauvage is intensely in your face fresh, way less complex and hardly smells different than some axe body sprays. My first ever scent was a Bulgari, not 100% sure which one it was. Might’ve been Eau de The Blanc. It was I think 2005. I was on a business trip to Tokyo, my company paid to send me first class on Singapore Airlines. On the flight, they gave me a little toiletries kit that had a 30ml bottle in it.

I’d never worn fragrance before, but I started wearing it on dates and ladies would often comment on how good I smelled. A few years later, I started looking more into fragrances. There is a bit a prep work involved. First wrap the bottle in aluminum foil for insulation, then wrap encase it in play-doh. Then you'll need a small heating element that you can power with a 9v/AA batteries. And finally seal with electrical tape around your whole apparatus

This should keep the bottles safe and temperature stable for the duration of the flight.

I have Charriol Royal Leather, Charriol Royal Platinum, and Charriol pH Eau de Parfum.
Leather is in the family of Tuscan Leather but with different fruits and a touch of spice. Good leather note. pH EdP is very similar to One Million Absolutely Gold. Slightly indolic florals. Royal Platinum has an Arabic feel to it with saffron and amber / resins. It wouldn't be out of place in the Mancera-Montale lineup.
I just ordered Charriol Infinite Celtic on Fragnet, blindly of course, for some $22. Should be good if the patchouli comes through as listed.
