does anyone know shit about scarves?
need one because of the cold

i cant decide what size to buy and what materials are good

>> No.13851820

>>13851814
something wool or heavy cotton
plain is good
grey or black
no flared edges or weird designs
no longer than 2/3 your height but closer to 1/2 is probably better but it depends on the scarf itself and how you want to style it

I don't know about them, they're for women, men wearing scarves look like idiots

oh also are merino and cashmere superior to lambswool?
or just slightly softer?

>> No.13851834

OP here i think that looks gay too

>> No.13851835

>>13851827
probably 30 but 50 can look good, again depending on how you want to style it
I feel like a fold would look a little strange and maybe too thin
>>13851831
not worth the price for the difference in texture
might look a little too feminine as well if you want to avoid that

Most girls will just assume you're gay regardless. Might as well dress comfy.

cashmere>lambswool>>>>>merino. merino is a meme and feels like acrylic
Go for tartan scarves if it fits your style

so you would sort of roll it instead?

pic related normal scarf thats sort of thin
30cm, dont fold?

>>13851851
where does cashmere + merino fit in?
same tier as lambswool?
im looking at tartan scarves, thanks for the advice

by roll i mean kind of crumple up or whatever
having a hard time describing it

>> No.13851861

>>13851855
I was thinking you were talking about a visible fold but if it's a hidden fold that's no problem
what you really want to avoid is the scarf looking to thin, then it will look like a female accessory and I think in general it's better to have a thicker scarf

Thick scarves look gay as fuck. A thin wool scarfs is all you need.

>> No.13851873

>>13851867
if it's wrapped around your neck it does but a thick scarf hanging off both shoulders looks fine
as long as it's not completely covering your body that is

Cashmere is primo, but costly.
then, merino, then lamb.
I have a synthetic, sport material scarf. Warm, soft, inexpensive.
Cotton is OK, but retains moisture easily and loses warmth when wet.
You can use a bright colored scarf as a contrasting accessory. Personally, I go for the monochromatic look, in black and greys.

bump
where do i buy a fucking scarf boys?

>> No.13855109

So I know what I want:
Alpaca wool
Long length
No frayed or weird edges
Moderately thick
Preferably a deep blue
But I can’t fucking find anywhere online to order one. Does a shop genuinely not exist that can meet those criteria?
