I like the jacket. But I can see that the fit can be shit. But if the size is perfect is a nice cop.

i mean sure its nice but seeing as you bought it 2nd hand where are you planning on wearing this? it would be like buying a 2nd hand rolex everyone who actually knows you knows you arent actually rich and its going to look very out of place

OP here
>>13815713
I'm not a particularly wealthy individual, infact I make a large majority of money from buying/selling clothes but wearing something like this, to people that know me, isn't really out of place. I quite proudly buy things second hand, a good 90% of my wardrobe is second hand, either online or from charity shops besides obviously underwear. I personally think second hand clothing is infinitely cooler than buying the newest overpriced and generally uninspired seasons. Finding items you never even knew exist and the luck of the draw when you find an item like this, makes it far more entertaining and rewarding.

It's also not like a Rolex where it's quite obvious you're wearing something expensive, there's no gaudy logos or anything along those lines.

>>13815716
Pretty much

>> No.13815903

>>13815713
you new here? loads of people who are into fashion buy second hand because every season, the stuff is only made for that season and not again and it's also far cheaper
no one really buys designer stuff at rrp and those that do don't go on the internet, they go on luxury cruises and fuck models then do coke off the dashboard of their ferrari

everyone missed the point here, take a similar but, different brand like lanvin for example. lanvin makes extremely high quality casual clothing thats very modern and very luxe. if you saw some university student in lanvin you would think theyre out of place because, clearly a barely making it student isnt going to dress like a rich waspy cunt also there are so few places you can actually wear lanvin and have it make sense, like a country club a ski lodge somewhere having extremely luxe casual clothes wouldnt loom out of place. Now dolce and gabbana occupies a similar space in fashion. extremely luxurious clothing, what do you own that could even go with this? its not going to mesh well with the majority of your clothes and again anyone who knows you will know you are not wealthy and will know you don't actually have any scenarios in your life where wearing super luxe casual clothing makes sense, this piece is good for a larp for you and thats it.

the people who wear dolce and gabbana do not buy it second hand, its like rolls royces, its like moncler its like as i mentioned before rolexs. clothing should reflect who you are and the life you live, you should not be dishonest in your clothing choices.

i too buy almost exclusively 2nd hand clothing but theyre more creative fashion brands and more contenporary as that fits my lifestyle and who i am. ive owned lanvin armani hugo boss prada versace etc and it does not work for me likewise i have a strong feeling if you reach a higher understanding of fashion than you do now you will realize the same.

I mean I'm a training financial advisor, I've owned moncler, Versace, Prada, Armani, fendi, most major Italian fashion houses (usually worn, growth tired of and sold for different items). My friends know I have a passion for designer clothing and pride myself on my more creative and ever changing outfit choices and designs. As previously stated this isn't anything majorly out of place for me. I understand what you're saying, I'm not some mega rich individual who going for a jog in full stone Island because he can, but I could happily attend a social event and not feel as if I'm trying too hard.
