For the last couple years I had been getting my haircut by a "friend" I knew through mutual friends and sharing the same hobby. Hmm. I might suggest something that had worked for me.

Cut the back up and let your bangs grow out a bit. Go for a young leo look but with longer bangs. This is a decent intermediary length haircut that can bridge to a longer style, buying you time for your sides to grow.

Also, find a handful of medium length hairstyles that you like that are on people with a similar head shape and hair texture as you. Take these into a hair stylist (not a barber) and get a 50-75 dollar haircut from a stylist that cuts men's hair. This should last you 4-6 months (hopefully).

No, you can only get brassy hair if you have naturally black/brown hair who have to bleach their multiple times.
Since you're naturally blonde you'll probably get one or two lifts. So you have hair that looks something like in the pic related.

I tried nopoo with hard water, it's impossible. You can just extend the time between washes so you won't have to do it as often. Maybe wash with just conditioner, and only occasionally a clarifier. Fwiw I wouldn't bank on nopoo even in soft water and I really wanted it to work

Any females on this board dealing with frontal female patterned baldness and hiding it? The combover isn't working anymore and I cannot take the buzzpill for obvious reasons. I usually would shampoo and condition only on the days id wash it. I was always experimenting, sometimes I'd do no shampoo, no products at all. Just experiment and see what fits you best
