Why did people hype them up?

>> No.13777530

>>13777526
it was from the supreme collab

but now that supreme is dead, champion will disappear too

>> No.13777531

>>13777526
pretty good basics for the price and they fit in with the retro sportswear trend

>> No.13777544

As someone who remembers when this was the cheap shit you bought at zellers/walmart as a kid, I don't get the hype. At least it's inoffensive.

>> No.13777553

Hopefully they go back to the walmart tier brand theyre suppose to be

They're solid basics but i dont want the hypebeasts ruining how cheap a brand they are

>> No.13777641

REVERSE WEAVE
TODD SNYDER COLLAB

COMPLETLY DIFFERENT FROM THE MAINLINE STUFF

>> No.13778237

Its the same with fila, first of all Fila isnt that bad of a clothing company, but the normies always have to kill it

>> No.13778263

>>13777530
>champion
>disappear
champion is one of the oldest sports brands ffs

>> No.13778548

>>13778237
everyone now sees fila as a booga brand, but actually fila started out in biella, italy as a basics brand made for everyday wops living in the alps. they only started with sportswear when they started sponsoring tennis players in the 70s. and it took off as a well known clothing brand when britbongs in the 80s started wearing this clothing to soccer matches

>> No.13778556

>>13778548
correct me if im wrong because im an americunt that doesnt know better, but champion has never struck me as a chav brand. even fila has some sort of luxury allure to it as its an italian brand, but champion is literally the brand you go to for sweats bought at sears or modell's. ive been iffy on buying a champion track jacket for the last few months because i dont think it will fit in with the luxury sportswear aesthetic im trying to go for. i always associate that brand with boogas and not with chavs

>> No.13778565

They have solid basics. I have champion shorts and shirts that have lasted me 15 years.

>> No.13778576

>>13778548
Basically exactly what we did to stone Island but on a much more severe scale. As a result, I'd never own or wear any of their clothing line anymore.

i guess it also depends on how you wear fila. like if you wear a polo or track jacket in its normal fit and it has a small F badge in the left chest area then it could be ok. but if you get a baseball jersey like pic related and wear it 2 or more sizes too big, then you wear it like a booga and make the brand look like garbage. its the same thing with other shit like polo ralph lauren. theres the small logo solid polo shirts and cashmere sweaters, then theres the obnoxious varsity jackets and hoodies that say POLO across the front in big collegiate letters. any brand can look great or like shit. its how you wear it

>> No.13778597

>>13777544
Same. Should've stocked up early and sold that shit as "vintage"

>> No.13778677

>>13777544

This comes up in every thread but the bulk of Champion is complete dogshit. Like Walmart/Sport Direct stuff where a T-shirt is $5 and will last two washes. The stuff that's "hyped" is the Reverse Weave line. That stuff is basic but incredible quality. The hoodies/crewnecks will last you years.

>> No.13778690

>>13777526
Champion Europe reverse weave > everything else. The quality of the material, fit and colours never make we want to touch the regular reverse weave stuff ever again.

>>13777641
Good shit too.

THIS. Costco is loaded up with Champion stuff now, at steep discounts.

>> No.13780716

>>13777526
nigger rappers wore them ironically. Now sheeple wear it unironically

>> No.13780764

It's funny, because as an europoor, champion seems like at least a mid-end brand, and definitely not something you would be able to buy from walmart.

>> No.13780770

>>13780764
Europe champion is different. it's better

>> No.13781083

>but now that supreme is dead

They put out an inflatable chair online last week that sold out in 10 seconds

Most of their apparel goes in less than 5..

You may hop on the bandwagon and hate the brand, but saying its dead just because you dont like it is like saying eating meat is dead just because youre a vegi.

Stop lying, I buy Supreme and only a couple of times a season does an item go in under 10 seconds, and it's usually hypebeast shit

>> No.13781273

>>13777526
i dunno why people pay top dollar for their shit, you can find a bunch of it for real cheap at like farm or work wear stores, it's comfy shit at least

gee i wonder why

nah, even here there are two different kinds of champion clothing, the shit tier one and the actually nice tier one

This brand is cool. I wear underwear from this brand. It's quality in good price.

>> No.13783098

its the reverse weave line and the collabs that made champion big
