I've been keeping it short for the past five years, but I'm thinking of growing it out and actually styling it this time. Is it worth it or will I just end up looking like shit?

Not op.Any ideas on how to style it? My hair is kinda like a curly “bowl cut” going downwards and I’ve recently have been feeling tired of it
