You’re young and have a receded/asymmetric hairline? I’ve been cutting my hair for a while now and have always been scared to go in because I feel like they’d say “I can’t do anything with this hairline, sorry”. And then they’d laugh at me behind my back for even coming in.

Yes

Well OP, the problem is more common than you’d think. I have lots of people whose hair I’ve cut with the same/similar problems... the thing is that being a good barber involves the ability to problem solve and be creative.
I would’t worry too much.

Depends where you get your haircut but probably not, they'll more than likely see it on a daily basis, unless it's like freakishly bad

It looks like Jake Paul’s except I also have a wide forehead

No, they won't.

It's like asking "oudl an urologist make fun of me because I got a STD?". They see that shit everyday.

It's their job to make you look the best according to their ability.

Go to a proper hairdresser/barber instead of a mall-tier salon, though.

I was going to say this. It's like worrying about a doctor making fun of your body so you'd rather die of cancer. Or in OP's case, AIDS

Yes they do

Go get a haircut, OP. More people are probably laughing at your haircut that you gave yourself. Also, don't go to some cheap place just because it's convenient (Cost cutters, supercuts, etc.) If you can help it spend some good money on someone that knows what they're doing, it will make a world of difference.

I once had a knot in the back of my hair and the hairdresser looked at it and went "BAH" "HA HA HA HAHA HAHA" then she cut it out and put it in a bag and asked if I wanted to keep it

What if I make myself look like an idiot?

>> No.13750929

Everyone looks like a idiot at least at some point throughout the day. It’s their job so I’m sire they’ve seen it hundreds of times. You really think you’re the only person with an asymmetric and receding hairline to ever get a haircut?

>> No.13750934

Who cares if they're gonna be laughing in your back. You get a good haircut, that's all that matters. It's not like they're in your social circle.

I'm the only young person I've ever seen with a hairline as weird and asymmetric as mine (except Jake Paul). Plus my forehead is extremely wide.

>>13750934
I don't know if there's a way to give my hair a "good haircut" because it's so fucked up looking

>> No.13750952

It's all in your head. I have social anxiety and shit like this used to bother me a lot.
