so /fa/ after I shower my hair is always dry and frizzy after.
the conditioners I have used haven't done anything and it takes a few days for my hair to produce oils then it starts to look alright
is there anything I can do to make my hair look good?

kevin murphy smooth again or you can start using oil based pomade and let it build up in your hair. that way it'll lay flat and hydrate your hair

where do I find a cheap oil based pomade? I'm on a small budget. also this won't make my hair look greasy and unwashed will it?

it depends. the higher hold pomade the lower the shine. you can still wash your hair every day since the pomade won't wash out completely. put a bit more in it after a wash and it won't look dirty. if you just walk around with pomade in your hair and you haven't washed it for 5 days, yeah, you'll look dirty

Just live with it. Try to shampoo as little as possible both in frequency and amount used. I often shower without shampooing until it gets too much. Also if you wash your hair in the evening it will have one night of greasing up. Personally I've tried lots of styling products but none are as good as a natural grease.

Do you have curly hair? I had this problem and found that using a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and pic related helped a lot.
