Well i dunno bout real life inspo but Araki was influenced by a fashion designer by the name of Antonio Lopez and the color palette of Gauguin. If you look at the color pallette of Part 4 and 8 tankoban covers this becomes extremely apparent. Pic related is a design by Lopez.

Yeah. The more you look at Antonio Lopez the more you see the uncanny resemblance in design and posing with some famous JoJo poses being straight ripoffs of Lopez (though im not complaining).

it works in manga and anime but if you actually produced a 1:1 translation its too much costume for real life. an individual garment as a statement piece would work though. i thought for a minute about what brands and designers i know that do loud, colorful, dramatic or playful rtw though and these came to mind:

I was inspired for a boot design by Giorno's look. I want a pair of dark purple cuban heeled boots, ankle height and without laces.

On top of this, I liked Rohan's outfits a lot minus the crop tops. The school uniforms with the modified collars are cool too.

Used to be Johnathan, just for the sheer spirit of trying your hardest and shit, but that was in high school. Gave me good motivation to start working out though. Used to be really huge from just sitting on my ass all the time.
Now, I guess if I had to pick one, it might by Josuke, or most of the guys from Part 4. This is where Araki draws his characters a little less bulky. But honestly, Jotaro's fit in his shirts (pic related) is what I worked for. Getting rid of man boobs, getting a build chest and flat abs. Not completely realistic, but just look at that, makes anything you wear look way better.
