Copped a thick black duffle coat from Spier & Mackay (pic very related) and I'm not sure what to wear it with, specifically footwear

I have meme shoes like CDB, grey adidas campus, surplus GATs. I was thinking chelseas but not sure on the colour, I don't own any black clothes except the coat so black might be too bold for me and I already have brown CDBs. Maybe tan or grey suede?

>Also, post your winter coats

OP here. I bought a camel and green Gloverall duffles for 70% off from ASOS but they were poorly made and the material was way too thin for Canada. I expected them to be thicker close knit wool like my grandpa's army greatcoat from Korea but they were really shitty. Also the sizing was way too big.

I wanted to send them back but I paid ~$100 on duty so they are sitting in a box with their tags still on them. Companies have no quality control nowadays. Everything is cheap disposable shit from china full of polyester.

Wool is expensive. Fine, non-scratchy wool that everyone seems to want these days even more so. Back in the days, a coat really had to keep you warm - no cheap down parkas waiting in store for when it gets really cold. But such a coat would be a considerable expense for people. Or armies for that matter, just remember the german woes in russia (or the americans, despite all their superior logistics, late 1944).

other note: my duffle just came in the mail and it seems awesome. I sized up as per the website but it is still form fitting. I could have maybe gone even bigger to a 46 but 44 is comfy if snug with a sweater/suit jacket under. I should have ordered a short as the sleeves are a tad too long

A good quality wool coat is expensive as fuck. You can cop one second-hand for a fraction of that and it belonged to some dude that barely wore it.
Especially is we're talking something like a duffle where it's basically the same design as it ever was, right?
The only thing that I can imagine would make it hard to cop a good, second-hand duffle is maybe eBay and etsy demand could be high enough that you can't get the size, quality and colour you want.

Not really gonna talk you out of buying a coat like that. But why not look for a decent vintage sherpa coat that's made from actual wool, instead of this plastic coat.

When did I imply that shearling was a brand?
Im asking what brand the specific jacket is. The most similar I've found is of a brand called Woolea, but I dont think thats the right one

Some of the arktis stuff looks real nice, especially the geometric-type camo. Did you just get a plain colored one?
>>13755194
Stutterheim looks quite nice, how do you feel about Arc'teryx Veilance? Too hypebeast? I wish I didn't miss out on this dorky 3M stone island jacket, these are my favorite but I'm never paying resale for them.

The post you were replying to directly just said shearling coat to which you replied "what brand is that?" It could be taken either way, I'd have to know how retarded you personally are and you're anon.
I also find it a little incomprehensible that someone would be that hung up about finding a particular shearling coat.

any good quality brands which offer (duffel) coats with long enough arms and a slimmer cut?
I'm 6.5 and have rather long arms, usually go for 72-74cm arms on shirts and majority of the coats I tried on at local stores are simply too short and expose parts of my arms

Why the fuck would you rent a kids scooter they cost fuck all. I understand like an actual scooter in an urban setting, Berlin had these cool electric peds when I was there, apparently Paris has them too.

Renting a kids scooter is worse than renting a push bike
