Either work fine, it's a white sweater with a black print. Neutral colors go with pretty much any color. I would personally go with black jeans, tho.

American Eagle's clearance section is fantastic. 95% of it is shit, but it's such a huge selection there's bound to be some really nice basics for cheap, some that I was too slow on so my size is not available anymore. Why didn't anyone tell me about this before?

I actually got some joggers a couple weeks ago (cotton-blend though) that were as cheap, and they're definitely better than Uniqlo joggers which cost more. Could not pass this chance for some joggers again, even if I'm just going to use them around the house.
