ive been browsing this board for a hot minute and although i had stopped for a few years, ive come back to see that facial aesthetic / body image related threads now occupy a sizeable portion of all the threads made. in the past there was literally only thinspo and the occasional hair-related thread but now it seems there's a sizeable increase in "rate my face" posters.

is this transition a positive one?
do you think that /soc/ is leaking into /fa/?
is this because of newfag teenagers?
is it because there has been a lessened stigma on (men)'s hygiene + self care and such?

I don't think so, it's not even just threads about faces. We get a lot of women "inspo" threads that are really just guys going "give me photos of goth/punk/emo/scene girls so I can jack off."

You know the worst part? You couldn't make threads like this on a porn board! They'd get deleted for being request threads.
