Do you guys ever talk about fashion that doesn't include dressing like a ninja or spending $1500 on a pair of pants?

I'd like to get more /fa/ to go along with my /fit/ but everything here seems like a meme

posts on /fa/ tend to be more extreme
i think its cool this way because you can diffuse it into what you find to be a comfortable level.
e.g. if pic was inspo

you don't have to buy or listen to all the meme shit /fa/ teenagers are spouting.
First: figure out which style you like Second: figure out which brands do it best, calculating in the fit on your body and the price quality ratio 3: put it on wish list and wait for a sale 4: only use /fa/ for shitposting and sometimes asking people for experiences with certain clothing and very rarely inspo
Now, anon, which style do you like?

I don't really know. I'm going on 30 so I don't think I can wear a lot of the young peoples stuff posted here. I dress pretty boring and businessy but I'd like to spice it up .

Prep is always possible, imo it is the best look on 30 year old boomers.
I'm slowly building a preppy wardrobe myself (with many European elements/brands included and none of the tacky pretending to own a boat shit) but it's taking a lot of time due to it being expensive if you want to do it right.

nah. same way /o/ sinks thousands of dollars into their shitboxes or /biz/ on shitcoins. people actually have jobs and many complaining about price are students or unemployed

anyway if you lurk here long enough youll find brands and styles that will fit your budget and tastes. off the top of my head something like norse projects might be more to your liking, as they have looser fitting clothing and conservative design with touches of style rather than some of the all-out brands like uhh, cdgh+

if you're a fit guy look to brands that are fashion forward but not too much, runway shit isny going to look good on you. brands like stone island, c.p. company, prada sport, and other houses sports lines such as lanvin's would look good on a fit guy.

rick talks a big game about working out being modern couture but almost all his followers are skinny waifish losers whove never worked out or follow the same bullshit reddit routines and will never get big. fashion isnt aimed at fit guys don't worry so much about it

Let's solve the greatest mystery of the world right now: Do you unbutton 1 or 2 buttons on a button down in a business casual setting? I feel like I made a mistake whichever way I go

1 normally, 2 or more when hot.
And if you're a virgin you button all the way up

To be fair, just because the followers of a brand look a certain way doesn't mean they are who the designer originally envisioned wearing it. I mean, look at the losers that wear SLP.
