Depending on how warm it is where you are right now, a linen suit (if it's hot), or if it's getting to be autumn cool, then like anon said, midweight grey flannel. In most of the world it's not really time for tweeds yet, but a nice brown tweed three-piece might do if you're in Scandinavia or like Maine. (Disclaimer: I don't know if it's actually cool in any of those places right now)

When are you going to this thing? It's going to take some time to get a decent suit, just grabbing one off the rack is something you'll end up regretting as a poor expenditure of money.
