the thing is, he may do the same shit as rappers with peacocking and flashy designers, but at least some rappers today go for a certain look or aesthetic. conor mcgregor literally buys anything that today's top 10 designers spit out no matter what the design or look is. be it the hideous garbage the dolce & gabbana is spitting out today (rip D&G diffusion line), or any logo branded cringe-worthy garbage by gucci, lv or versace. my beef isnt so much that hes stunting the branding, but that hes not going for a specific look or aesthetic. his outfits literally say "look i am wearing obnoxiously expensive clothing and jewelry", like a 13 year old boy who found a black mastercard and just bought out the entire inventory of the closest saks fifth avenue without accounting for coordinating the pieces together

inb4 im jealous of his money. i work at a very well paying job and also have been known to stunt branding, just not obnoxiously and i at least try to incorporate my pieces into a tasteful outfit
