i wear clothes that i'm comfortable wearing without breaking the bank. don't buy into the le rick owens raf simons meme because 9 times out of 10 you're going to look ridiculous, because you aren't comfortable in those clothes

Damn right it was worth it. It pays for itself. You'll learn how to avoid buying shit you'll never wear. That's not to say you will never make a wrong purchase but the ratio of good to bad purchases will go up drastically.

You'll get colorimetry and morphology tests which are almost impossible to get right by yourself. Advise on what kind of clothes suit you better. Aalso about the different fashion styles and how to build a basic wardrobe. Although if you're on /fa/ you probably know that already.

One of the best things though, is their savoir faire. There's something super worthwhile about having a one on one conversation with someone who works with models all the time. You can ask them about anything that's bothering you and you'll get a straight to the point answer. I fixed my eyebrows which were something that was really bothering me and got advice on a new haircut that looks way better than my old one.

They aren't even that expensive. So yeah absolutely worth it. Was literally getting compliments the next week.

Yeah they use these silver and gold reflective things to test your skin. It’s like witchcraft. I didnt’t know if I was warm or cool but when I saw how bad I looked under the golden reflection and how much better my skin looked under the silver light it was so obvious I was an air.

Same with the shape of your face. You’ll be left wondering if you did the test right. A consultant will take a look at you from the front and tell you what shape you are in a heartbeat

i haven't bought that many nice clothes yet, the ones i did so far are pretty basic
honestly what boosted my confidence and fits in general were my shoes
i replaced my old dirty white shoes with some nice leather ones
i replaced my broken fake leather """boots""" with some real ones, etc
might just be me though, im sure not everyone has something in their wardrobe theyre lacking in as much as i was lacking with shoes
