Are these acceptable on a relatively tall white guy? I want a nice solid pair of shoes to go with black jeans / trousers. Are they still fashionable? You're welcome to post alternatives if you know any. General shoe thread also I guess.

Ive bee wearing docs since 13, now 28.... they are whqt they are.. 3 eyes are the best, looks good with cuff jeans and some Sta prest pants or slim chinos....

Make sure your belt and socks match colors, black belt with black shoes, brown belt with brown shoes, etc.

Never wear white socks with black shoes, choose something patterned or in a deep color.

Yeah I wear doc martens a lot when I go out because I'm ~6'1" and they bump me up to almost 6'3", and it's day and night how much attention I get from women. They don't draw a ton of attention and are basically lifts that are socially acceptable to wear.
