Hi /fa/,

I don't come here often, but I am getting married in the beginning of October and am getting ready to pick out my suit and my groomsmen suits. We are opting with a suit for the wedding and purchasing it instead of renting a tuxedo because we like the look a lot more.

Our colors are

>Navy
>Medium gray
>Light pink

What are some things I should go for and things to avoid? I would prefer the main color of the suit to be gray and the shoes to be brown. Anyone have any infographics or advice/stories? What's the best place to shop for this? If you need any information about me please let me know.

Thanks!

I can't get over how awful this fit is.

>Collar 2 inches too big
>Tie clip way too high
>Weird bottom button on vest
>Belt with a suit, and even if you need it it's far too low on the hips instead of waist yet he's wearing a vest.

Suspenders or nothing? Am genuinely curious as I wear business suits often and was wondering if that applies to mines as well.

Just wear pants that fit and wear them on your waist if you're doing the full 3 piece. For a business suit it can depend more. Suspenders are fine as long as no one can see them.

The tie clip has no reason to be there, the vest is already meant to hold the tie.

Just got married two days ago and i have never received so many compliments on my appearance in my life.
Stick with a traditional suit that's tailored slim to your body. Notched lapels is fine, peaked looks too try hard. Jetted pockets are very formal but flapped are fine. I was the only one of my party with jetted pockets.
Always match your belt to your shoes. No exceptions!! Brown is fine for grey shoes but I'm not a fan of grey suits. They're so boring. Navy is super fine looking. That's what I wore and everyone loved it.
Tailored or bust. You'll never regret a tailored suit you'll wear forever assuming you don't get fat.

What's it like being you? Honestly curious, walk me through your average day.

I wear a belt all the time because I find it more convenient. It's never visable though The point is that you're not meant to be able to tell if there's a belt or braces either way.

Did you also wear brown shoes with no socks and short trousers? It's purely personal opinion but I cannot stand that as a trend just now.

Nope, i wore dress socks and my pants were traditional length and break.
