nice meme autist, now go back to your gucci streetwear. bomber jackets are REAL winter gear, worn by REAL men!!!

>> No.13602095

The only reason you wanted a bomber jacket was because they were recently trendy.

I got a bomber jacket back in... 2012 I believe? I was inspired by Regular Show, seeing Mordecai and Rigby wearing their "NASA" jackets. That's what inspired me to get mine.

If you're OP you claim in your post that you "just got" it.

It's really strange to see all these threads. I don't know why they're holding on to these like this.
They belligerently want to claim they are living apart from trends but it's that trend that inspired their cop.
I think maybe part of it is they haven't seen another meme jacket popularized to replace this one in their minds.

lol I'm not OP

But it's obvious why I would imagine you were and it should also be obvious to you that your story actually does set you apart from these latter-day bomber coppers so you shouldn't be defending them and citing it.
It also doesn't mean you get to choose what wearing a bomber communicates to other people now.
>I don't care about that.
That's fine.

Go for it, Put some things with meaning on it and you’ll treasure it. Also people can still like Bomber Jackets. They don’t have to want to be trendy. Why do some people even post in this thread if they arent going to contribute anything or make arbitrary claims that this is a trend? Come on now.

You’re terrible. You’re such a hipster.

Let me take one more stab at this. So you could be a guy that wears whatever he wants for his own reasons and doesn't care about trends. I can respect that even though it does basically make you pic related.
The problem is that the people wanting to cop bombers now aren't actually doing that. If this bomber trend had not happened they would not be copping the bombers now. They are not living apart from the trend, they're just getting in on it much too late.
And, since they aren't actually living apart from the trend and just want the thing because of that trend, they should just cop a thing that is more trendy today.
Because there isn't a good reason to buy something that is as out of fashion as bombers are right now. It's not the only jacket in town and it does actually have flaws.

One flaw is that it's going to be too warm for *most* people, they'll sweat if they ever have to walk further than the fridge.
Another flaw is that, if it's actually cold enough for a bomber, you're going to feel that lack of a proper collar. You'll probably need a scarf and scarves are gay.

Lol are you underage?
A good bomber is timeless.

>> No.13602198

>>13602192
A "timeless" thing is not timeless in the period directly after it goes through a trend cycle.

>> No.13602214

Possible reason autists won't let go of bombers: it's a military-style jacket.
Their autism means they gravitate towards military clothing but not that many military clothing pieces have been trendy lately.
Something like a harrington or a sherpa isn't doing it for them because they're not military.
If being knoch was /fa/ for people that aren't knoch they would be doing that instead.

Spoken like someone who desperately wants a bomber for his own special reason but can't get one because they were in fashion a year ago.

Wrong. I copped one years ago and it's now stored away until such time as they are popular again.

I don't think you know what the word timeless means.
Aslong as you're not wearing one of those shitty satin bomber knockoffs you're fine in my books.

>that's why i need to belittle you who is advising people not to wear it for reasons of fashion
I earlier stated reasons I don't like it that much but I'll tell you a couple more. I don't like knit cuffs very much and I prefer bigger pockets.

You don't get to choose for the whole of society, though. Fashion isn't about you living in your head, it involves other people.
Other people have put their bombers away. I saw hundreds of people yesterday and two bombers, an Asian couple wearing matching jackets.

What a pathetic fad-following manque cunt you are. *Shudder*. I imagined that comment in a nasally whine.

People will wear bombers because they’re cool. If they wore them solely because some homo said they were “in” in 2014, Alpha Industries would be our of business...
