Im at pic related level now with my hairline. I havent receded for like 2 years now. Im on one hand happy that I didnt fell for the mentally ill tranny pill, on the other hand im still jealous at my mates with perfect hairlines.

Is it worth it going on minox/fenasteride? Does it regrow temples? Or should I save my shekels and get a hairtransplant when im 30+?

>> No.13601270

Do not get on fin, it fucks with your whole body and there's also a 1/1000 chance that your dick will stop working forever.

Minox is like a gym membership, once you stop using it you'll start losing your gains. However if you can get it for cheap then I'd recommend that over fin any day. $100 a year to maintain a full head of hair sounds like a bargain to me.

does minox work on temples. I have a full head of hair, just my temples that look like young jude.

It stimulates the weak follicles, so if you previously had hair there then yes.

I've been stressing over my temples for ages, however I went to see a trichologist and he reassured I didn't have signs of male pattern baldness, and that it was a result of poor diet and damaging it with dying.

I've just been rocking a fringe that hides it ever since.

Well was abit like me. Went to a quack (dermatologist) and he looked at my temples that had receded and said it does not look to have any miniaturization any more. But does minox work on temples? Is it worth trying?

Minox is a cream that's absorbed into the scalp and nothing more, there's no effects besides effects on your hair.

Fin is an oral pill so it's all up in your bloodstream fucking around with your DHT levels and other stuff.

Actually if your still in your early to mid 20s and it stopped there you're probably fine. Maybe take a vitamin supplement to ensure your getting adequate nutrition. My hairline has been like that since I was like 13. And it's never receded or thinned. Unless it appears that your losing an absurd amount of hair or thinning your probably fine. If you ask about receding on fashion forums or balding forums everyone is just gonna say yep your balding, but it's distinctly possible you aren't.

>>13601533
This you are retarded OP. You are probably not balding and just being paranoid.

>> No.13601546

22 (23 next month) and receeding here. I'm very very slightly thinning but my Dad didn't lose his hair til he was like 35.

Can you receed early but not thin early? I matured soon too, having chest and face stubble by 16

pic related is what ive had for the past 3 to 4 years. I have two distinct hair that are below my hairline at the moment on both sides on my temples. I guess these two were once part of my juvenile hairline. I messure my hairline against these two once every week and I guess its stopped. Is minox/rogain just a waste of money?

My hairline is not receeding but its getting equally thinner everywhere like picrelated (not me)

I suspect telogen effluvium since my blood tests showed that I'm probably hypothyroidic.

I also cant get rid of dandruff (it goes away when using bprescribed shampoo but reapeears days after stopping the use) and sometime I have burning sensation on parts of scalp.

Anyone with same problem? Experiences?

Just try finasteride, don't be so scared about it. I think the people who get PFS (Post finasteride Syndrom) are already hormonal retards with many problems. I read a lot about it, and the side effects are mild to non existant. And most go away if you stop using it. People are so scares about it but prescribe SSRI's like candy, or Methamfetamine to children who can't sit still.

Minoxidil just let's you regrow small hairs if you're lucky (low chance of success) but doesn't stop hair loss. So the best is always to combine it, besides it's not as harmless as you think and could give you head aches. But the best thing is to live healthy while using fin or minoxidil, get good sleep, plenty of nutrients maybe some added Biotin supplements.

the dandruff can cause thinning if it's medium to severe and it's been on your head for a long time. try to take care of it.

also the guy on the picture isn't thinning. Even the thickest hair of a middle eastern kid looks like that when it's wet.

>> No.13601616

And if I pull that dandruff off would my hair regrow? I've used some shampoos and it didn't work.

Also, I have middle eastern blood so I'm really hairy and my hair contrasts my legs or hand for example. It sucks.

Well I think some of the horror stories are placebo or just a continuation of the low self esteem that balding causes men. But still, I cant see that a pill that mentally ill trannies take to try become a woman can be any good for you.

But still, for every horror story there are thousand of successful ones so I dunno. Im just a pussy I guess. I look pretty ok with a buzz so,

>> No.13601969

>>13601554
It's probably fine. If you're really concerned the best thing for you to do is go to a dermatologist or maybe if it's an option a trichologist. Be sure they're reliable and not at a shady cosmetic office where they may be more inclined to give you something you don't need. From what you say it sounds like you're probably going to be fine. Otherwise if you're feeling insecure or anxious about balding or side effects of treatment tell them that. Secondly Finasteride has to be used in large doses along with estrogen to cause significant feminization. Worrying about things like that is just gonna make it worse. If you don't want to chance it hair transplants have shown good results. Going on internet forums about balding is just gonna make you more anxious than you have any reason to be.

if it contributed to the hair loss in the first place then most likely yes

I've been battling dandruff for like the past 6 months now and nothing has really worked. I recommend trying zinc pyrithione / ketoconazole / seleniumsulfide and if they don't work going to a dermatologist.

You have a long head shape, which makes up for any recession you have experienced. People with shorter, rounder faces, if they recede as much, would look different and even more high forehead looking.
