Shit I'm really considering white converse to cop that junky /faasfck Renton Trainspotting look. Is it a good idea? Know they gonna be dirty before u say blueberrypie and thats the way they should be, right?

They look good fresh, and they look good trashed. It really is the whole idea. The unbleached white color aren't a bad option either.

Chuck Taylors are timeless and utterly ubiquitous, they're about the most unpretentious sneaker one can wear.

The '70s Chuck' is the one to get. They look way better, and last much longer than a standard model.

That was the ad campaign at the time; that Chuck Taylors weren't 'shoes' they were 'Sneakers' and you do things in sneakers you wouldn't do in shoes. I worked through that whole campaign so I'm all too familiar with it.

They're really fantastic; making them an always-available 'staple' instead of a limited thing is the only good decision NIKE has made since they started being so heavy handed with the brand over the past few years.
