Have any of you guys ever been made fun of for your clothes?
I wore a Guayabera to work today. Its basically a latin american shirt, its really good for hot weather. Pic is pretty similar
But all day my normie co-workers were making comments and laughing at joking at me, calling me 'Fidel' and other stuff, and asking me whether I was wearing trunks under my trousers so I could swim to Florida, and other stuff like this.

It really pissed me off. I tried to make it seem like I was OK with it by buying cigarettes on my lunch and smoking one of them in the middle of the office but I got shouted at by my boss and forced to put it out. I was really hurt by all the jokes. What the fuck? All I wanted to do was wear a nice comfy shirt, it has 4 pockets and its really useful.

dude actually the "guayabera" its only used for beach events, like a wedding or something like that. not for office days imo

dude the shirt is cool, your coworkers are just lame and racist. and they're racist because they're insecure and need to make others feel small because they themselves are small. wear whatever you like. also if you really want to be petty you could report them to HR, most organizations nowadays are very concerned about having a politically correct image

Being a whiny snitch isn't /fa/, amigo.

Making fun of OP for being autistic isn't racist, culturally appropriating a style he doesn't understand for the sake of fashion is though.

Stay mad

It genuinely sounds like when they made fun of you, you bought into it and they won. If someone digs on you, don’t spazz out and reeee about it and dont get defensive, just say “whatever bro”

seconding these. ill also add that while there is often undue punishment from groups for not conforming to norms, in this case you should consider and respect the office dress code, even if there isn't one written down

Why are you guys even replying to this obvious bait ?
