Not 90s big, mind you, but just average sized? I'm seeing less of the early 2010s super slim cuts.

You see big 90s suits. Polyester, padded shoulders, medium lapels, longer sleeves and baggy low waisted pants. The 90s were a special low for suiting.

I'm specifically seeing the non-slim suits worn by young people though, like college students

1) Super slim cuts were never fully in in the first place, it was a fashion thing that didn't catch on outside GQ readers, at least where I live

2) You shouldn't be buying suits based on trends anyway, the clean timeless cuts are always going to work so just get and wear good timeless cuts and DGAF about the year's trend.

Genuinely not sure and I follow suits pretty closely. I happen to like 20s and 60s style slim suits. Sometimes I see the mainstream stuff getting slimmer (especially ties) but I’ve also seen a trend going towards wider lapels and a vest (I own a suit like this)

Where does one find big suits now? Also is there a business casual version of this? I am not interested in dressing like an r/mfa wannabe in a few months when I start working in an office.

I also like the late 1910s through mid 1920s styles of suits, and lots of the ones between the late 1950s and the 1960s, sometimes there are some nice 1970s and 1980s suits, as well. I don't like most 1990s and 2000s suits, though. The 1990s was generally the baggiest suits have been since the late 1940s and the early 1950s, which was the Bold Look era, before the Mr. T. look took its place. The 2000s was usually baggy like the '90s, for typical suits available from retailers, but a little less so, although still often boxy and boring. Some slim fit suits were obtainable during the last decade, especially from 2007-2009, but that was still a little while before the slim fit and skinny fit suits got really popular. Slim fit is fine if the proportions are balanced, according to its wearer. Narrow lapels and neckties, as well as a more trim fit, could suit many people, especially slim folks. For current suit fashions, I suspect also that the very narrow lapels style is on its way out of prominence, although it will still likely be common. The TV show Mad Men is no longer a current influence on fashion, as it has been off the air for several years, now. As for that Mr. T. look I mentioned, here is more on it, it is not related to the 1980s celebrity:

The President's style always guides popular suit fits for men. The Don like his suits roomy, so that's coming back.

Some people wear them around the city, just because. It looks to make less sense wearing a full suit around a town or the country, though; a sports jacket would better fit.

depends on the style of the suit
