Any ideas for how to decorate a seriously tiny apartment? I've lived small, but never like this. Will need a bed and somewhere to eat.

>> No.13472720

>>13472684
Fan, det där var inte mycket.

You'll have to choose whether a dining table or a sofa table is most important. I'd personally rather eat at a sofa table than not have one at all.

I'd put the bed along the left wall with the short end against the wall of the wardrobe, and two seat sofa along the same wall. Computer desk to the right of the living room entrance, and TV in the middle of the right wall. An extra wardrobe on one side of the window, bookshelf or other storage furniture on the other. A large, bright carpet in the middle of the room to help reflect as much light as possible from the window. Bright furniture overall when you've just the one window really.

Lots of wall shelves can be a good idea for both storage and decorative objects in a small apartment. Oh and don't forget to utilize the wall in the hall with the stove on the other side, you'll probably want some tall piece of furniture there.

to be fair, that wasnt the whole reason. imo its a bit too much of the same shade of brown wood in this area. it ends up looking a bit too matchey and a dark shade of wood would balance it out nicely (or, you know, all black but thats even more boring than an eames chair). must be a nice feeling to fulfill a long time wish though, cant argue with that. if you enjoy it, you enjoy it :)

What a garbage layout. Maximize whatever storage you can put in the hall. Shelving above the doors and in whatever other odd spaces you can fit it.

I think the room should have one sleeping surface that should take up most of the floor area. All of the storage and work surfaces should be cantilevered off the walls. The sleeping surface should be 45cm off the floor to act as seating as well.

Get a Monstera, they grow to a fuck off size, and will grow even bigger if you give them a moss pole to climb. Palms grow really slow so if you want the tree you can buy a mature plant for a 100$ or so from a nursery. Or look into bannana trees, I have one and they grow really fast, mines putting out new leaves every other day, but it needs a big tree pot to reach its full potential.or hibiscus standards if you have lots of sun and like flowers.

Its a fun plant, and isnt as needy as a say a fern. You will need to put it in a bigger pot so it doesnt become root bound, but otherwise deep watering when soil starts to dry out, lots of direct sunlight, and a good fertilizer during the growing season is all you need. And the occasional wipe with a lint free cloth to get dust off the leaves.
