Why's Gucci stuff more expensive at the Gucci online store than most other online stores?

>> No.13430536

But how do other retailers get the products? Are Gucci stores not owned by Gucci manufacturers?

Gucci is what poor people wear when they want to look rich. I've never met a rich person who wore it.

You're one of those guys who posts a picture of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg standing next to each other with the caption "Not a single Gucci belt buckle in sight"
Coincidentally, everyone I know that posts or reposts those pictures is broke/performing below average.

agreed

the whole point of designer clothes is about not caring about the fact they are designer, if you do, you're just another soulless chinese fuck. you buy them because you like them, not because of the brand or the price.

YES

Have you ever heard the term "Nigger Rich", OP?

It's why a chav can win the lottery BIG and return to being a garbage man in 6 years time.

When you buy something at a luxury brand's retail store, they keep track of small things about you (e.g. which hand you write with, that you're buying a birthday gift for your wife in June), so that they can provide the same level of service at any other retail location in the world and so their sales staff can anticipate your needs, based on information you've provided. Brands have been struggling for years to try to get this same level of service online, and still haven't really been able to master it.

Buying stuff from Gucci's website and staying within the same database is sometimes worth it for people and means that if their bag needs to be cleaned, repaired, serviced or reported stolen, they'll receive a certain level of customer service, without having to prove anything else. For some people, paying a bit of extra money for that convenience is worth it

Didn't even think of this, as I don't shop at luxury stores personally. Thanks for the post anon
