Why did I never do a prolonged fast before? I'm on day 5 of nothing but gum, sugar free saftevand (not something murica seems to have?) and tea with nothing in it, and it's so lovely. It's not true, two nights ago I had a carrot. I took one bite, chewed it and once my mouth was empty, i counted to twenty before I had the next bite. Before I knew of it, it came naturally to chew so much that I didn't even have to sink. I hope I'll find it impossible to eat fast soon.

Carrots aren't too much. I use them to practice eating slowly. I used to think it was okay to binge on carrots, so I'd frequently chug up to 5 large carrots mindlessly. But it's just stupid because it's basically conditioning my stomach (and my way of eating) to be able to take in any large volumes rapidly.. so it's a way to enable bingeing. I am on my second week of restricting and I feel like I have so much more time when I don't focus on food. Even the weakness seems pleasant. A few times I was forced to eat more than I'd like because of social outings, but I still stayed within TDEE. Still felt pretty shit.

- onions bean paste (recently i tried to make it sorta like a chocolate spread, would recommend) or hummus on homemade whole grain crip bread with different seeds and nuts in it.
my go-to cheat food is sautéed chopped apple with cinnamon served cold and mixed with oats and onions cream. I'd go for yoghurt instead of onions cream if I did dairy though. onions cream is all carbs, no fat, no protein.
If greens weren't expensive af where I'm at, I'd eat a lot more kale and leafy greens with olive oil and garlic dressing.

Dude, don't starve yourself. My girlfriend did it 5 years ago and she regrets it deeply, she's just glad people forced to to start eating again. Her lack of nutrition led to her having a pretty bad case of osteoporosis which almost got her leg amputated. Don't be a fucking idiot, eat. The solution to being thin isn't to not eat, it's to eat healthy and workout. There is no easy road around it.

Please, for the love of god, don't starve yourself, you're messing up your body and you might end up in the same place where my girldfriend ended up in. She can't even stand up now for more than 10 minutes without her shoulders hurting.

Do you have an issue with motivation or anything? If not, then you can safely lose 15 pounds over half a year just with a tiny calorie deficit. I started with minimizing my breakfast myself since I realized I was usually eating in the morning just because it was breakfast and not because of I was hungry. Then I would eat some small snacks (carrots/almonds) late morning when I actually get hungry.

If you feel like you need to do some cardio or anything, just get anything that you can do in front of a TV so motivation will never be an issue (well that was the case for me).

yeah, I'll lose some muscle, but I'll build it later. tis called cutting/bulking, I hate to say this but maybe you have something to learn from /fit/.

And yeah, my metabolism will decrease, but I'd prefer that to a long, tedious diet where I have to count the calories close to make sure I'm juuuuuust at the right side of the line. It'll take up all of my bloody mind. Also, in my experience, the physical discomfort arises when the body transitions into burning fat - which you'll be going on and off constantly when eating all of the time (shoutout to intermittent fasting and omad). And 1k kcal at once, fuck me, that's way too much.
Once i'm at my goal weight I'll have a second challenge in builing muscle, and along with that my metabolism *will* increase.

From my fast this past week I dropped 8.8 pounds, though I estimate max 4.5 of them are bodyfat. I went from 127 pounds to 118, which lands me at a bmi of 20.6.

Where do you shop for small sized clothes in Europe?
I've got such a hard time finding pants that fit my pear-ish body, especially now that high rise jeans are in, the ones I've found so far are so baggy around my waist that using a belt just makes it worse. :'c
And I simply can't find any jackets that are small enough at all.

Should I order stuff from Asia/Southern Europe where people are smaller? Are there brands/shops that carry these measurements/ size xs-xxs? How will we deal as vanity sizing just keeps getting worse?

how to lose some legs volume? my BMI is about 19.00, lowest was 18.3 but despite being flat and pretty skinny overall, my calves are bigt comparing to the whole body. it's not really about fat but about muscles and genetics, my mom has the same problem and I was a semi-pro sportsman years ago. Okay lads, will this f i n a l l y work?
